Aspiration or surg: Ganglion are cysts that can come off of a joint or a tendon. Aspiration (sticking a needle into the cyst) under local anesthesia can be done. Surgery may be necessary to remove with a decrease recurrence rate vs. Aspiration. Often a ganglionis due to or associated with joint pathology or tendon prob;em which may need to be addressed surgically.

Depends: If it does not bother you then leave it alone. If it does then you can try splinting and anti-inflamatories if you can take them. If that doesn't work then surgical removal. Aspiration and cortisone usually not effective in my experience.
