Use Denture Cleanser: Soak in a denture cleanser. If the retainer has metal on it, then use a denture cleanser that is safe for partial dentures.

Clean: For plaque brush retainer 2x/day when you brush your teeth. Place in denture cleanser 1x/day, follow the directions on the box. If you have tarter build up on your retainers, try soaking in vinegar.
