With a toothbrush: When the spaces are open, the spacers will fall out. While they are in place, it is possible to floss, but difficult without dislodging the spacers. Then, thhey can't do their job. They shouldn't be in there long enough to cause problems. In the meantime, avoid sugary and acidic snacks and drinks to limit your decay risk. A good rinse with Fluoride before bedtime wouldn't hurt.

Electric toothbrush : Consider an electric toothbrush. Like the oral b there are various style brush heads. Also consider a waterpik device. Rotapoints (plastic stimudents) can also help. If you use them all, you should have nice results.
