Brush at night: Brush your teeth before going to bed and scrape/brush your tongue. If this doesn't help, see your dentist for a comprehensive dental examination.

Dry mouth: If your mouth gets dry during the night, from mouth breating ( nasal congestion, allergies, deviated septum, etc) or you suffer from xerostomia ( dry mouth ) caused by medications, this will effect your morning breath. I recommend thorough brushing, flossing and rinsing with anti-bacterial mouthwash before bedtime. I also recommend a dental evaluation to possibly find other reasons.
