Red ring, clear middle: Ringworm rash is slightly raised, red ring with normal looking skin in the middle. It may be slightly itchy or not itchy at all. Home treatments? Tea tree oil, athlete's foot cream [clotrimazole, miconazole, lotrimin, terbinafine, tolnaftate]. Keep it covered. Don't share your clothing, towels, hairbrushes or other personal items. If it spreads or doesn't get better after 4 weeks, then see your doc.
