See a dentist: There are no tips specifically for dental pain; if mild to moderate take Ibuprofen for analgesia and reduction of inflammation; however you must treat the origin of the pain, and for that a dentist must diagnose and treat.

A Dental Appointment: Obviously if you are in pain, it will be high on your priority list to get it gone and move on. One of the wisest decisions you can make (if you haven't already), is to regularly visit your provider to prevent surprises like you are currently experiencing. There is really no good time for an emergency, and the majority of them are avoidable :-).

Dental pain: The best way to deal with the pain is get definitive treatment. Go see a dentist and get an exam to find out what is causing your pain. Until then take ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen).

Long Term: In the long term, you're going to need to see a dentist for definitive care. For the short term (until tomorrow when you will be seen as an emergency patient) you can take OTC pain meds. Feel better soon...
