Try these: Neck exercises- move your head up and down, side to side and rotation exercises; apply warm packs; take tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (if no allergies)poor posture definitely can contribute to your pain. Go on youtube and type in neck exercises. Ask your dr if he would recommend a cervical x-ray and physical therapy.God bless you!

Physical therapy : Most prob. The problem in the neck muscles that went into spasm from the bad posture and stretching exc and physical therapy will be of help and you can add muscle relaxer if needed.
