Very common: Pcos may be present in up to 30% of women. It is a very common cause for weight gain, missed periods, infertility, hair growth, etc. It is best treated w/diet, exercise and weight loss. Metformin therapy can help restore normal menses and often fertility. Check w/your doctor.
