Get checked: While the chances of progression are not highly likely if you have had an abnormal pap smear in the past you really need to follow up more than every two years. See your doctor!

Needs follow up: Hpv test positive and precancerous cells does setup an individual for progression of precancerous cell to malignancy. Only can be further evaluated by a physician. Would recommend a return appointment as soon as possible.
