The biggest palpable axillary node (4 cm) was taken for biopsy, why didn't the surgeon take out the smaller ones too for biopsy?

Nodes are ur friends: Since the diagnosis will probably be rendered on examination of the big node, it would be unwise to take the other nodes that you need to drain the normal lymph from your arm and keep it healthy.
