Many reasons: Sebaceous cysts, hydradenitis suppurtiva, infected hair follicles, shaving, or something worse. Needs to be seen by a gyn.

Chronic infection: If this happened before and keeps coming back means you need to take antibiotics for a longer period of time and use a special shampoo . The antibiotics and shampoo act together to kill the bacterias on your skin causing this infections. Please see a doctor for examination and treatment. There is something you cannot treat yourself.
