A few tricks : Ky jelly or astroglide may provide lubrication making removal easier. You may need estrogen cream to help with vaginal atrophy. Your doctor can help you with this. If your pessary is the kind that has a small hole try tying a loop of dental tape through the hole and letting the string hang out of the vagina. Then to remove you simply pull the string. Works great. Dental tape not dental floss.
