My sister 38 years old suffer from pruritis in her bottom of feet always, her physician give her topical clotrimazole but the pruritis resist, why ?

Maybe not fungus: Not all that itches is a fungal infection - which is what the Clotrimazole treats. It may also be from eczema, allergy, or another skin condition. Unfortunately, these can all look alike and difficult to distinguish from each other even with expert opinion. Have her try over the counter Hydrocortisone cream together with the Clotrimazole - even for a fngal infection, it will help ease some itch.

Pruritus: It is not clear as to the nature of your sister's problem. Her doctor probably gave her topical Clotrimazole thinking she may have had a fungal infection affecting her feet, but it would not help if she has a different problem. Itching of the feet could be due to a number of other factors, including a contact allergy, circulatory problems, or other dermatologic disorder.
