Not a good idea: When you have an enlarged spleen, it is possible for it to rupture (break open) if you hit something. That can be dangerous and make you need emergency surgery. Spleens can be different sizes, but generally the bigger, the worse the risk from being hit. Also, people with mono are often too tired to enjoy or do well with skiing. Put off your skiing several weeks.
