More info: Impossible to make a diagnosis. Many reasons for pain. Could be anything. It only hurts when you sit? What about stairs? Where does it hurt. How long? Swelling? Popping? Injuries?

Hmmm?: Hard to say without an exam. Anterior knee pain tends to be related to your kneecap. Posterior knee pain could be a meniscus tear, bakers cyst, or blood clot amongst other things.
