Systemic Rx: Acne on a man's trunk seldom responds just to topical treatment. Your physician may offer benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, and/or a retinoic acid derivative, but you will probably also need a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline 500 2x/day or even Accutane prescribed by a dermatologist. This is the 21st century and all acne is manageable. Good luck.
