Glomerulonephritis: You need to find out what type of glomerulonephritis (gn) you are taking about. Many people can find out the type of gn they have by blood test results. To arrive at a diagnosis and a prognosis, a person with gn will need to have a kidney biopsy which will be sent off to a pathologist who will diagnose the type of gn. Once, the diagnosis is in, more can be said of your patient with gn.
