Not the phone book!: It's always best to get a referral from someone you know. In a new community, you may not have made a lot of friendships yet. So it might be helpful to ask your local pharmacist. Check to be sure your doctor-candidate hasn't had trouble with the state licensing board. You can find this information on the internet. And don't hesitate to keep looking if your first try isn't a good "match" for you.
