He is immune: Once healthy people have recovered from a specific 'cold' or upper respiratory infection (URI) they are immune to that specific uri. Unfortunately there are hundreds of different 'colds' which can be spread around, your boyfriend could catch another 'cold'. Tips to prevent spreading a URI around: wash your hands, cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow, and try to stay home and rest.
