No immunity No cold: Your immune system doesn't weaken but you could get sick. There are cilia in your lungs that help push out mucus with bacteria or viruses. When you get chilled you can have temporary paralysis of the cilia. If you have some of these agents in your lungs and the mucous settles deeper because of this, then you could get pneumonia. You won't catch a cold unless someone around you shares it with you.
