A member asked:

At home uti text kit reads 500+++ leu/ul and positive for nitrate , which antibiotic should take care of it besides keeflex i'm allergic to that.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Keflex is not a good: You should go see a doctor and ask him/her to give you an antibiotic which is best suited for uti. Keflex is generally not a good antibiotic for uti. Most doctors would use either Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or Ciprofloxacin but you would need a prescription from your family doctor asap.
