Yes: If you have a mechanical aortic valve and Coumadin (warfarin) for thinning blood, you have to be careful. Small quantities like a glass of wine or beer is okay. But large amounts can derange the blood thinning effects of coumadin (warfarin). No relationship with pacemakers.
