Need exam: May just be irritable bowel, but bowel fistulas and some other serious conditions can occur. Irritable bowel is serious too but not as dangerous.

Possible Gallstones?: This sounds to me like the common complaints when someone is developing gall stones. Do you notice it is worse with some foods - ebspecially greasy foods? Do you have pain elsewhere? It is hard to tell for sure but you need to talk to your md about it. Try to keep a food diary & events for a week or so to see if there are patterns to the foods. It could be allergy, or lactose intolerance also.
