Varicose Veins Cure: No, there is no homeopathic cure for varicose veins. Varicose veins result from a mechanical failure of the veins / vein valves and no homeopathic treatment can fix the problem. Compression stockings and horse chestnut extract can assist with the symptoms, but will not cure the condition. Over time the condition will typically worsen if left untreated and will spread to other veins over time.

No: There is no natural remedy for varicose veins. You could try compression, and there are a variety of cosmetic cover ups, but only removal of the veins ultimately will relieve varicose vein problems.

No: I agree with drs. Gotvald and lerner. There are no homeopathic medicines for varicose veins, including horse chestnut (which might help swelling but won't get rid of varicose veins. The one venotonic (medicine for veins) that has been shown in good quality studies to make a difference in leg vein related symptoms (especially swelling) is dalflon 500. Unfortunately, it is not available in the us.

No : No cure for varicose veins with homeopathy. The varicose veins are a result of pooling of blood with increased venous blood pressure. The best way to close the varicose veins can be determined on physical exam and a focus venous ultrasound examination by a physician skill in treating venous disease. Check out the american venous forum or american college of phlebology.

None that works.: Varicose veins are due to leaking valves in the saphenous vein system. There is a strong hereditary component. There are many potential home remedies such as horse chestnut, diosmin, escin and certain kinds of berries but none of these work. If you have varicose veins, then you should see a vein specialist for a f/u venous evaluation including a venous ultrasound.
