Uveitis: Injury to the eye an cause inflammation in the front, anterior uveitis and sometimes the back if the eye? Posterior uveitis. Untreated anterior uveitis will result in potentially blinding cataracts (clouding of the lens through which light must past and be focused) and glaucoma (high pressure in the eye). Your friend needs to be under a doctors care.
