Difficult: The combination of one sided swelling of the lower leg, with pain deep in the calf as well as pain as you lift your toes towards you when sitting reproducing pain in the calf are the most classic symptoms. Regrettably most deep clots have few symptoms. Thigh and buttock aching typically are not associated with the classic deep vein thrombosis.
