Omega 3: Centrum is a multivitamin and omega 3 supplements are fatty acids. They are not incompatible. Whether a person needs all that nutritional supplementation is another question and we have few outcome studies that show improved length or qualtiy of life from the many supplements folks take.

No reason why not: Omega 3 helps lower triglycerides more than other lipids. It is healthy in your diet. Consider eating more seafood where this is more abundant, but if seafood is out of the question, suppliments may be good alternative. Remember that this probably doesn't cancel out an otherwise poor diet, so limit high fat/fried foods, increase fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
