Is an ldl level of 2.74mmol/l ok?

Depends on totals: Ldl of 2.74 (about 100 mg/dl) is ok, but without knowing what the total cholesterol is and the HDL values to give you a ratio does not give you a meaningful result. Therefore, you need to know total, and then the ratio of LDL to HDL to get a whole picture.

LDL: We generally like LDL to be close to 2.1mm/l. Depending on risk factor profile 2.74 might be ok but getting it lower wouldn't hurt.
