Not sure: Usually nerve issues from diabetes is from more advanced, not pre-diabetes. Funny feeling on hands can be carpal tunnel, neck issue, vitamin b 12 deficiency, or many other issues, would check with your doctor if worsens or not resolved in the new few weeks.
