Taking correctly?: Make sure you are following the directions for your steriod taper to the letter. Do not vary this in any way, shape or form because it can cause problems. It's not unusually to feel "different" after a course of steroids. It's best to touch base with the prescribing physician to see if they want to see you or order any lab testing.

Hives and fatigue: This might be due to the antihistamines that are normally the first line medications given for hives. If this is your 2nd Medrol (methylprednisolone) taper, then i suggest that you seek allergy evaluation to figure out why you are still having hives.
