Not sure...: If i understand your question. Colon cancer perforated at age 29 would be extremely rare. Ask your surgeon if there were clear margins & enough lymph nodes removed (12 or more removed is best). Review your treatment options with a medical oncologist. Perforated colon cancers can have higher risk factors for recurrence.

Could be: I think you mean "leaks" yes cancer cells have been shown to spread in that way. You should be undergoing chemotherapy or bilogical therapy and be under the constant care of an oncologist. If you are only 29, you should have genetic testing for lynch-type syndromes. (www.Myriad.Org).
