Muscular Dystrophy: Becker's can effect people very subtly or more substantially. Usually if your knee is giving out it is due to weakness, contractors, or pain in the knee. The brace provides a propioceptive input into your nervous system to fire muscles. It does not provide functional support in and of itself. Best thing is to maximize your strengthening activities, correct any flexibility or knee issues.
