Yes: It is open cut for a few days. Use lubricant such ad aquaphor so that tattoo does not adhere to clothing until healed.

Tattoo: A tattoo is a series of micro needle sticks into the dermis. These sticks place pigment into the deep skin that is semi permanent. The colors fade over the years but never completely resolve. Since it is many needle sticks the skin secretes plasma and clothing will stick to it. One should wear a sterile dressing for about a week to allow the wounds to heal and use mupirocin ointment on the tattoo
