A member asked:

What is the meaning of multifocal ductal carcinoma in situ, left breast and right subdural hematoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

cancer and clot: Multifocal means mutiple seperate sites of cancer cells in the ducts or tubes of the breast. In situ means the cancer has not spread outside the ducts, into the surrounding breast tissue. In this instance the problem is in the left breast. Subdural hematoma is a blood clot between the brain surface and the membrane (called dura) covering the brain. In this instance the clot is the right side.
