Multiple: The effects of malnutrition can effect a child in many ways. Malnutrition will cause developmental delays across the spectrum of milestones, motor, language and social. It will reduce linear growth and weight gain. It will have a marked negative effect on intellectual development. It should be avoided at all costs. Speak to your pediatrician about nutritional advice.
