Asthma Control: Diagnose and treat the root causes of asthma and you can minimize or even eliminate your need for inhalers. Allergy, sinusitis, gerd (reflux) are the most common factors - often in combination. Asthma is often treated as if the wheezing is the disease but its often just a deadly symptom of the underlying inflammatory response to other factors like pain is a symptom - not a disease.
