Unknown: There are no good clinical studies looking at most supplements, including probiotics as to whether they are of benefit or harmful.

Unlikely: There is no evidence for this although it is unlikely that probiotics will make thyroid disease worst, unless the probiotics contain a high amount of iodine.

No!: Nothing to do with it! The qualities of a good probiotic are the number of good bacteria per capsule and the number of species of good bacteria! 10 billion with ten strains is what to try for! Would be hard to overdose. Some have 50 billion good bacteria, but you pay for it!
