My brother has hiv and i live with him how can i keep away from it and not let it spread to me?

Avoid blood contact: You are unlikely at risk for HIV from your brother. Hiv is spread through unprotected sexual contact or sharing infected needles. I'm assuming you're doing neither with your brother, so your risk is minimal. I would avoid blood contact if you have an open sore or cut, but intact skin will protect you from hiv. Would not share razors or toothbrushes, but okay to share eating utensils, toilet, etc.
