HIV spread: HIV is transmitted by exposure to blood or body fluids of an infected individual. And in the exposed individual, dosage, and site of exposure may play a role as well. Food is generally not contaminated with blood or body fluids of HIV-positive individuals. Cooked food, even if it contained HIV, would not be infectious. So, avoid blood or body fluids, but don't worry about an HIV+ server.
