A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible infection: There are many causes of elevated eosinophil counts. However, is the eosinophil count elevated in raw number or just as a %. If you have a low WBC and a normal eosinophil count, it may appear to be higher than it actually is. Various disorders can cause increased eos. Parasites, allergies, and some rheumatologic diseases can all cause elevated results.
