Hi doctors, , how elevated level of growth hormone is associated with osteoporosis and arthritis?

Just arthritis: People with acromegaly or excess growth hormone develop enlargement of the tissues that make up the joints, and that can lead to pain and swelling. It does not cause osteoporosis.

Acromegaly: Abnormally high growth hormone in an adult leads to a disorder called acromegaly where there is enlargement of soft tissues and organs in the body. This eventually leads to arthritis of the joints, but not osteoporosis. Taking growth hormone for body building can cause the same problems. One can also develop heart, liver, thyroid, colon and other organ disease.
