Yes: It depends who you get them from. "chinese herbal remedies" are the worst -- they are usually something other than what they claim to be. Stuff from the gym is likely to be goodness-knows-what. A more reputable company might be more trustworthy, but the whole business of pricey vitamins is about advertising / fantasy rather than real science. Be careful.

Depends: I think centrum contains nickel and tin as part of the processing. Vitamins do not have to be on sale to contain bad stuff. Got to know the company and see the manufacturing data sheet to really know. Independent testing is also helpful.
