Refraction first...: "migraines" are a common complaint of visual problems. First, get checked for glasses which can identify types of eyestrain. True migraines are "sick" headaches and can often be treated with medications. There are many triggers including stress, foods, fatigue, etc. Before seeing the doctor, keep a headache diary outlining activities, time of day and headache duration - this makes diagnosis easier.

Get checked out: A good start at finding potential headache and migraine triggers would be to maintain a diary. Every time you have a headache write down what you were doing, the foods you ate that day, alcohol, smoking, caffeine, stress, how much sleep you had the night before, eye strain, etc. Try to find patterns in your headache so that you can learn what things to avoid. Get checked by your doctor.
