Breast Biopsy: In the absence of any equivocation, if the pathology report is a straight forward "benign, " i would not seek a second opinion if it were my wife, and i'm a pathologist!

Probably not: Given that the radiologist is saying that the biopsy result is concordant with the radiographic appearance, i would not think that a second opinion is "needed", although a second opinion should never be discouraged. At the very least, though, there should be radiographic follow up to determine whether the lesion is still "suspicious" or whether it has resolved.

2nd opinion: Generally, this is sufficient, although follow up ultrasound is frequently ordered to ensure stability or regression.
