Usually self correct: Hyper ventilation causes a reduction in c02 levels, and a change in acid -base balance in your blood stream. For which reason your brain over rides your control and blacks out. You may need to talk to your primary care doc, if you are feeling this a lot.

Chronic hyperventila: I agree with dr. Tidman, , u can try to relax and breath slowly , if u r not successful. See u pcp , good lick.
