In the absense: Of chronic high blood pressure or diabetes it may be a contaminate. Likely nothing to worry about. There are diseases in pregnancy that cause protein in the urine, like preeclampsia, but it is very rare at 23 weeks and very unlikely process with normal blood pressure. F/u w/doc, but likely nothing concerning.
