Oral contraceptives: If you are switching from one type of bc pill to another and haven't missed any doses then you should not become pregnant just from switching pills since both are effective.

No: You are safe if you switched directly from one birth control pill to another without skipping any days. You completed one packet & then opened up another brand & started it as you should. Your own ovaries remain suppressed and would not have made eggs. Taken correctly, the pill prevents 99% of pregnancies. Remember, it does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including hiv.

There is always: A chance of failure but if using them as mentioned you still should not ovulate. There is no increased risk. Have a good night.

Shouldn't : As long as you did not miss any pills there should be no problem changing from one brand to another.
