Both psychotic dxs: The criteria for a diagnosis of schizophrenia are more complex, generally including two or more "characteristic" symptoms (delusions, hallucinations, etc) as well as social/occupational dysfunction and other elements. A diagnosis of delusional disorder requires non-bizarre delusions (situations that occur in real life) and no significant functional impairment (among other requirements).
