Can you have schizophrenia without delusions?

Yes: People with schizophrenia may have only hallucinations or only delusions or both. However, they don't have to have either for the diagnosis to be made. They may have only disorganized speech or behavior. It is also possible to have hallucinations or delusions and NOT have schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia: There are periods of schizophrenic episodes that are free from hallucinations, and other so-called positive symptoms. One of the subtypes of schizophrenia is known as catatonic schizophrenia, there the patient sits mute for hours in all kinds of eccentric and even painful looking positionss.
