Pain under left ribs: Your pain seems to be upper abdominal. Since it is associated with nausea and lump in throat, this suggests gastritis and gastro-esophageal reflux. Treatment would be with antacids, or Prilosec or zantac (ranitidine). See your doctor if it persists, and avoid spicy foods.
